Artist: Man One
Description
CAPULINA might not be known as well to my American friends but I grew up watching his movies and laughing at his light-hearted jokes. He was simple and always wore a torn hat. He was of the people. I tried to paint this series very quickly without much refinement. Just trying to capture the eyes and maybe his smile on top of an abstracted graffiti-tagged canvas. It was originally created for the Hola Mexico Film Festival in 2015.
Medium: Aerosol, acrylic on canvas Size: 40 x 14.5 x 1 in Weight: 3.0 lbs
